Lessons Offered
With the guitar being my primary instrument, I have been teaching guitar for over 15 years to all ages and skill levels. I specialize in teaching acoustic and classical fingerstyle, but am versatile in teaching just about anything you would want to learn.
Bass guitar might be the most fun instrument to play on the planet! I have been playing bass almost as long as I have been playing guitar and it always puts a smile on my face whenever I hit that first note. I can show you how to groove along with any song you like or how to wow your friends with slap-bass and tapping technique!
The ukulele is a surprisingly versatile and fun instrument. They are easy to pick up and and get started quickly, making it a great first choice for people looking to start playing songs right away. The skills learned on ukulele also translate easily over to guitar and bass if you ever want to start playing them later.
The foundational instrument for all music, every musician should learn how to play the piano in some capacity. Not only is it a great instrument on its own, it’s also great for learning music theory and songwriting.
While not required to play and enjoy music, music theory is critical to taking your musicianship to the next level. I strongly encourage anyone who feels they need help with music theory to at least give it a try, you will be surprised how much you can learn in just one lesson!
I also offer the following music services and lessons:
Songwriting – Lessons and Feedback
Sight Reading

Testimonials
I had the opportunity to jam with and learn from Nate recently. He is a wonderful musician and his ability to play guitar is incredible. What impresses me the most is his sound; he plays with great dynamics and articulation.

As musicians of all levels of ability, we all hit a plateau at some point in our musical journey. I’ve experienced this numerous times over the years, but I’m continually impressed with the attention Nate takes to identifying the obstacles to advancement, and helping anybody at any level to overcome them for greater proficiency.
